Commercial Team lead (perromart)

Perromart is the No.1 Pet Care e-commerce company in Singapore and Malaysia with operational support functions across Asia. The company plans to expand its retail presence to key ASEAN markets. At the same time, PerroMart aims to grow its Branded pet care range into a global brand through its platform with a vision of becoming the No.1 Pet Care Brand in the world.
The primary responsibilities for this role would be:

Description:

  • Lead business development efforts to support and drive the growth of perromart Malaysia based on the company’s strategy.
  • Negotiate sales and distribution contracts with brand owners
  • Acquire and incubate key targets brands in line with the long-term strategic plan
  • Pitch and Acquire new and potential global brand players as well as facilitating marketing collaborations between the brand and our platform
  • Ensure overall sales target are met through planning, forecasting, marketing and collaboration with internal teams
  • Identify key projects needed to improve on important traffic metrics e.g. conversion rate and set relevant project plans in place
  • Support the successful execution and roll-out of business performance improvement plans, such as system adoption, campaign coordination and execution activities, etc

Requirements:

  • Ability to manage team, prioritize and deliver on multiple projects in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
  • Excellent written & verbal communication as well as presentation & negotiation skills
  • Strong attention to detail and highly analytical with excellent problem solving
  • Able to communicate ideas effectively and in a concise manner
  • Good listener with strong leadership skills
  • Highly organized and presentable
  • Able to organize teams and build organization structures
  • Pet food industry knowledge is an added advantage

Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree in one of the following: Marketing, Administration, Data Analytics,

Business, Finance. Master’s degree would be preferable.

3 to 5 years of marketing, brand development or consulting experience

Skills:

MS Office with advanced Excel skills
