PerroMart- Financial Controller

PerroMart is the No.1 Pet Care e-commerce company in Singapore and Malaysia with operational support functions across asia.

The company plans to expand its retail presence to key ASEAN markets. At the same time, Perromart aims to grow its Branded pet care range into a global brand through its platform with a vision of becoming the No.1 Pet Care Brand in the world.


The primary areas of responsibility of this role will be to:

  • Communicate with outsourced finance team to close monthly accounting; recommend improvements in process
  • Assist with technical accounting research and preparing related memos and entries
  • Review and analysis of financial statements, business unit P&Ls, and key metrics
  • Prepare & review key balance sheet account reconciliations
  • Provide guidance on accounting impacts associated with special projects and/or non-routine transactions
  • Manage global accounting of subsidiaries
  • Provide accounting support for business units
  • Evaluate, review and process travel expense, reimbursements submitted by
  • Manage & keep records of invoices, tax payments, petty cash and prepare monthly and weekly
    reports for same
  • Identify and resolve invoicing issues, accounting discrepancies and other financial
    related issues
  • Filling of the original receipts for all expenses incurred


In order to succeed in the role, you should ideally have:

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Tax / Management
  • 3-5 years work experience in finance, accounting, tax or similar role
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and charts and using
    financial Excel functions)
  • Good understanding of bookkeeping procedures
  • Experience using Microsoft NAV(ERP)
  • Precise and Good with Figures
