About HR & Finance position

Under the direction of the CFO, the candidate will support the Finance and Operations department to achieve organizational goals and ensuring that the agency compliance obligations are met

Responsibilities

  1. Boost Perromart's culture by organizing team events and other initiatives
  2. Recruitment
    • Source for candidates on LinkedIn, Facebook + other platforms and screen their CVs
    • Handle interviews and fill in a scorecard about your candidates
    • Establish lasting relationships with your candidates and follow up with them
    • Take the lead in recruitment projects: e.g. identifying where to source a role and build your recruiting pipeline
    • Welcome onboard new employees into the Perromart family from contract preparation to their first weeks with us
  3. Finance
    • Verify completeness and accuracy of all invoices, check requests, and employee expense reports
    • Process weekly disbursements
    • Prepare journal entries for accounts payable
    • Reconcile benefit invoices to payroll records
    • Comply with established internal control practices and procedures to ensure proper management of financial transactions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Ability to utilize software and work with databases (e.g. Breezy); having experience will be a bonus
  • Having a keen interest in the startup world, and also in developing people and improving company culture
  • Excellent verbal and written and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, SPSS, and PowerPoint
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to work independently
